A method you can hold us to.
Five stages, fixed scope per stage, and a success metric agreed before anything is built. You can stop at any gate with everything you have paid for in hand.
Home » How We Work
Every gate is genuinely your decision — continue, pause, or stop with everything you have paid for in hand.
1 · Discover
A 30-minute conversation about where time and money leak. No pitch, no slides. You describe how the work actually flows; we ask the questions that reveal where the hours go. If we do not think we can help, this is where we say so — an honest “not yet” costs us a project and earns us a referral, and that trade always works in our favour.
2 · Assess
A fixed-price study of your processes. We interview the people who do the work, map the flows as they really run, and quantify what the manual work costs using your own figures. The deliverable is a prioritised, costed roadmap with a business case per opportunity — board-ready, and yours to keep whoever you build with. More about the AI Assessment.
3 · Pilot
One high-return process, automated and measured. The success metric is defined before we build — hours returned, errors reduced, days-to-bill shortened — and the pilot is judged against the assessment’s forecast, not against enthusiasm. Proof before scale.
4 · Deliver
Full implementation with training, documentation and security built in. Training and documentation are deliverables, not add-ons: systems people don’t understand don’t get used. Everything ships with monitoring, alerting, rollback and a support route, and you receive the credentials and documentation that make the system genuinely yours.
5 · Improve
Quarterly reviews that measure results against the business case, report plainly, and propose the next highest-return improvement. Momentum, not maintenance — and if a quarter’s numbers disappoint, you hear that from us first, with a plan.
Security and compliance, every step
Security is part of every stage, not an afterthought. We work with UK GDPR obligations from day one: data-processing agreements, minimum-necessary access, UK/EU hosting wherever possible, and written commitments that your data is not used to train anyone’s AI. Read the full security approach.
Why the gates matter
Each stage ends with a decision that is genuinely yours: continue, pause, or stop with everything you have paid for in hand. That structure is not generosity — it is what keeps us honest. When the supplier only gets the next stage by earning it, advice stays advice instead of becoming a sales funnel.
Start at stage one — it’s free.
